New family? Follow the first-project guide →
1. Use your invited account
Follow the invitation and installation instructions from the RingRaised team. On the website, choose Sign in and use the same email and password as the app. The public demo has sample animals and does not open your account.
2. Check your exhibitors and animals
Exhibitor profiles organize the children’s projects inside the family account; each child does not need a separate website login. A family parent can choose Manage profiles on the website to add or edit exhibitors and animals, change assignments with a reason, and mark completed projects. The app and website use the same records.
3. Explore the family dashboard
Choose Dashboard, then click a family member, animal type or animal name. Filters combine with the selected show year and dates. To review an older project, select its show year and use Include inactive animals when needed. Click a summary to see the records behind it.
4. Compare two to six animals
Check animals in the Animals table and choose Compare selected. Weights use the same display unit. Daily gain requires enough real, dated measurements; missing information stays unfilled. Shared family expenses are not assigned to individual animals in a comparison.
5. Review feed changes and reminders
An advisor’s feed proposal waits for your family to accept or decline it. Reminders can be reviewed and cancelled on the website. Some reminders complete when the matching real record is saved, so logging the work matters.
6. Download your records
Choose Download records, select the family, exhibitor or animal and dates, then prepare the files. Available CSVs cover weights, health, treatments, activities, expenses, feed-plan history and reminders. These are general record downloads; direct AET submission is not available.
7. Review expenses and print a season report
Expense reporting breaks costs down by animal, exhibitor, type, category and month, with shared costs kept separate. Project reports prepares a family, exhibitor or animal summary for printing or saving as a PDF. Select dates and choose whether to include private care details before sharing.
8. Set your family preferences
Choose Account & preferences to update your own name and website defaults. A parent can also update family details. Website alert preferences control workspace notices; mobile notifications and reminder schedules are unchanged.
Finish a season and keep its history
A family parent uses Show years & retirement to retire a finished animal and create its saved report. Advancing the family show year asks you to review animals that still need a decision, including whether to retire them or carry them forward. Past projects remain available through the show-year and inactive filters. Saved retirement reports are available on the website and in an app build that includes show years. Project reports on the website remains available whenever you need a new report.
Remove incorrect or practice records
On the website, a family parent opens Manage records, selects the record type and entries, then reviews the impact before confirming deletion. Recently deleted lets you restore records. Deleting an animal hides its history from normal views and cancels pending reminders; retiring is the option for a completed project you want to keep. Family members can manage their own notifications. Deleting a notification does not cancel its underlying reminder or other task.
Choose who can see your records
An advisor is optional. Use Connections & account roles to review connections and sharing. Families control the animals and categories available to each advisor or breeder. Changing the sharing selection changes what that person can view.
