Common questions
Before you head to the barn.
A few practical answers about RingRaised, invitation-only access and keeping your project records together.
Can I download RingRaised today?
App access is currently invitation-only. Follow the installation instructions in your invitation. Public store links will be shared when public distribution is available. You can explore the website demo now without creating an account.
Does a beta-interest request create an account?
No. It records your interest and lets the RingRaised team contact you about access. It does not create a family account, guarantee an invitation or start a paid subscription.
Is the beta paid?
The invited pilot beta is free. Commercial prices and plan details will be published when they are ready. There is no checkout on the beta-interest page.
Which livestock can I organize?
RingRaised is built around show livestock projects including swine, sheep, goats and cattle. Families can keep several exhibitors and animal types in one account.
Does every child need a login?
No. A family account can organize children as exhibitor profiles and assign their animals. A profile is different from a separate sign-in.
Can I set up my family before my animals arrive?
Yes. Create or join your family in the invited app, then choose the show year and add exhibitors. Pause the setup guide until animals are assigned or arrive. An unfinished checklist is expected; you do not need placeholder animals or made-up records. Reopen it through Help > Family setup guide.
Why is the setup guide on the website but not my phone?
The installed app must include Guided Family Setup. Website updates do not install a phone build. In a compatible build, open the guide from Your barn or Help; it does not launch automatically after family creation. The website can guide you while you wait for the app update.
Do I have to use an advisor?
No. An advisor is optional. If you connect one, your family chooses the animals and information to share. Breeder connections are separate.
Are the app and website separate sets of records?
Your signed-in website workspace uses the same account and backend records as the app. The public website demo is a separate fictional example.
Can an advisor change my feed without approval?
An advisor sends a recommendation. Your family accepts or declines it before an accepted proposal becomes the active feed plan.
Can I export my records?
The family website workspace includes CSV downloads for weights, health, treatments, activities, expenses, feed-plan history and reminders. AET-specific formatting is future work; direct AET submission is not available.
Do I have to delete animals at the end of a show year?
No. Use Show years & retirement to retire completed animals and keep their history and saved retirement reports. Select a past show year and include inactive animals to find earlier projects. Deletion is available for incorrect or practice entries through Manage records.
Does the website provide veterinary advice or animal predictions?
Care features organize observations and treatment records. They do not replace a veterinarian. Animal photo/video analysis and class forecasting are not current public offerings.
Do the website demos use live AI or my records?
No. The family demo uses fictional records, and the Daily Update example is scripted. Neither demo saves into your account or sends your animal records for analysis.
